We Are First Baptist Church of Goodrich...
We are an Independent Baptist Church that seeks to edify the believer and declare the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our local town of Goodrich and the world beyond. As a growing body of believers, our aim is to be a body with one heart, one mind, striving together for the faith of the Gospel.
What We Believe
At First Baptist Church of Goodrich, we strive to keep Jesus Christ at the center of all we do. We do this by placing ourselves under the authority of God's Word.
II Timothy 3:16-17 tells us that,
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works".
Because of this, all of our core beliefs are taken, whether by precept or principle, from the Word of God.
We believe that God's Word has "given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness" (II Peter 1:3) and when we place ourselves under God's authority, we can experience true freedom, peace, and joy.

Our Services
Nursery available for all services. Our workers are certified and thoroughly vetted
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Join us for a dive deeper in one of our elective adult classes while your children build a firm foundation in a sunday school class suited specifically for them. Classes start at 10AM

SUNDAY MORNING
At 11AM our main service begins. This service includes a time of singing, Bible preaching and uplifting fellowship.
Junior church is also available at this time.
SUNDAY EVENING
Sunday evening we meet again for more singing, uplifting fellowship, and a smaller Bible message to ponder through the week.
WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY
Every Wednesday evening, at 7PM, we come together for a midweek service of encouragement. In this service, we dig deeper into The Word and have a wonderful time of discussion and fellowship concluded with prayer time.
IGNITE YOUTH GROUP
Our teens meet Sunday's 10AM and Wednesday evenings at 7PM
